New School Year 2021
As we get closer to the day that your child will start at St Mary’s I wanted to give some reminders about start-up arrangements and signposts to information that you may find useful. This information can also be found on the transition page at this link, including information on uniform, school bus service, coming to school on a bicycle, using a locker, and using the school canteen. This information has been emailed to all new parents.
The new guidance tells Headteachers that students should be given the chance to carry out two voluntary lateral flow tests at least three days apart before returning to school. The tests should be carried out at school. Schools are allowed to test up to three working days before the start of term. School can stagger the start of the year to carry this out.
